About Our Client

Our client, A wholesaler selling to manufacturers and retailers across Canada, is seeking a bilingual (French / English) Inside Sales Representative to join their established and successful business.

Responsibilities

As part of the Business Development team, the Bilingual Sales Representative will be responsible for performing a diverse range of functions including but not limited to :

  • Speak with French speaking clients over the phone and develop knowledge of their needs, establishing rapport and relationship nurturing
  • Take detailed orders from customer and enter the order information in to the database
  • Interact with clients via email, processing orders and returns
  • Keep the customer contact data up to date in the database
  • Notify management of any errors or omissions in orders, as well as relevant customer feedback
  • Gather and send out samples to customers
  • Learn about new products and promote those products to existing clients
  • Stay up to date on changes to pricing (such as monthly promotions)
  • Utilize sales tools such as scripts as provided by your manager
  • Achieve targeted number of contacts with clients

Qualifications

The following are the minimum requirements to be considered for this role :

  • Customer service, inside sales, or customer support experience
  • Fluent in French, both written and spoken
  • Strong communication skills with excellent spelling and grammar skills
  • Comfortable making phone calls and interacting with businesses on the phone
  • Experience working with in wholesales, retail, or manufacturing dealing with customers
  • AI may be used to support certain administrative aspects of our recruitment process. Compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, and qualifications and may fall anywhere within the posted range.
