IT Program Manager (Product Delivery) Software Engineering and Development

Black Duck Software is looking for a highly motivated Intermediate IT Program Manager (aka : Software Engineering Project Manager) to join our Product Operations Team . In this role you are responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of product releases and projects that support our strategic goals. Essentially acting as a bridge between product development teams (developers engineers) and business stakeholders.

You will work cross-functionally with teams including Engineering Cybersecurity Product Marketing Customer Success and Field Operations Youll own project planning and delivery from discovery through release enabling teams to ship high-quality features on time and within scope. This role blends classic project management with Agile delivery and stakeholder leadership to ensure seamless planning execution and value delivery. The successful candidate is collaborative detail-oriented execution-focused and thrives in a fast-paced hybrid environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Define project scope goals deliverables and KPIs in alignment with organizational objectives and stakeholder expectations.
• Create and manage integrated project plans resource allocations budgets timelines and risk mitigation strategies using modern tools (e.g. Jira Confluence and Smartsheet).
• Managing software development lifecycle (SDLC) or Agile / Scrum processes eglead Agile and hybrid project teams through iterative planning sprint execution backlog grooming and continuous delivery cycles. might these be more specific - Coordinating feature releases sprints and technical dependencies.
• Drive stakeholder engagement by facilitating effective communication alignment and transparency through regular reporting status updates and project reviews.
• Has deeper understanding of software architecture APIs cloud platforms and DevOps practices. Eg can identify escalate and resolve risks issues and blockers that may impact scope schedule or quality.
• Communicates technical requirements and constraints effectively.
• Ensure compliance with organizational security governance and data privacy requirements across all IT components.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement by implementing process enhancements incorporating lessons learned and introducing best practices in IT program delivery.0
• Provide mentorship and leadership to project team members fostering professional development and knowledge sharing.
