Working closely with the Assistant to the Director and the Graduate Secretary, this position provides support for the school’s undergraduate and graduate programs, including recruitment, marketing, admissions, student support, and updating student records. In addition, this position also provides support to the Director, Administrative Officer, faculty members and sessional instructors including social media coordination, event organization and support, promotion of current and emerging programs and research in the school, preparing the school’s newsletter, ordering textbooks, organizing exams, updating class schedules, preparing reports and statistics, photocopying and special projects as assigned.
May require occasional travel to attend recruitment events.
This position requires a level of education, training, and experience equivalent to 3 years of experience working within a comparable environment.

- Familiarity with UVic calendar, programs, policies, procedures and business systems is considered an asset.
Specialized Knowledge / Education
