Loader Operator (Water & Sewer)

Firma Contracting is currently seeking an experienced Wheel Loader to work on underground / water & sewer projects located in Edmonton. We offer competitive wages work / life balance great opportunity for advancement training and potential for work over the winter.

This position starts in January 2025

Duties include (but are not limited to) :

• Installation of underground utilities in close proximity to existing utilities and in existing residential / commercial areas
• Work closely with pipe crews to install pipe - ensuring a high level of safety communication and quality
• Working in highly congested areas
• Moving materials to pipe crews using proper rigging mechanisms and procedures
• Operate equipment in close proximity to ground personnel and other equipment
• Ensure work is always done safely to the highest quality standard while maintaining strong production
• Promote execute and adhere to the companys safety program
• Daily equipment inspections and maintenance
• Conduct oneself in a professional manner with honesty and integrity
