Our client is an independent firm in the field of damage insurance brokerage, both for individuals and businesses. This is a company that has been in business for 80 years.

In full expansion, it needs insurance professionals like you to join a stimulating team in their office located in Montreal.

What we offer

Permanent employment

A competitive base salary varying between $60 to $125,000 / year, to be discussed depending on experience

Commissions paid monthly

A work-life balance

Daytime schedule only. No evenings or weekends!!!

Full-time schedule of 35 hours per week. Either Monday to Friday 8 : 30 a.m. to 4 : 30 p.m. or 9 : 00 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m.

Summer schedule ends at 3 : 00 p.m. on Fridays

Parking on site or accessible by public transport

Social benefits paid at 50% by the employer (Life insurance, medications, salary, disability, glasses, dental) after 3 months

Group RRSP with gradual employer contribution from 1.5 to 3%

What you bring

You are recognized for your negotiation and persuasion skills, to negotiate with different insurers

You have ease in expressing yourself and communicating

You are customer-oriented and action-oriented

A sense of solution, support, escalation and upselling

Management of a customer base ranging from 2 to 4 million

Carry out modifications, pricing, loyalty and solicitation during incoming calls;

Shop for quotes from our different insurers.

Management of service calls for your module, management of incoming emails from your module's customers.

Must carry out renewals, modifications and new business (references, calls received in the office and existing clientele).

Possibility of making gradual sales and possibly becoming a producer

Who are you ?

You have an AMF sales certificate (required)

Have at least 1 year of experience in commercial insurance

Energetic and compassionate, you have good communication skills and know how to put people at ease

You have a reliable home internet connection to ensure your voice is heard

Bilingualism (French / English)

You have computer skills to navigate several software programs, all on 2 screens
