Reporting and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Supervisor, Software Development, the Senior Developer brings expert Microsoft Platform development experience to the team, ensuring solutions meet the client’s information and process automation requirements. Key responsibilities include :
Act as Microsoft Solutions Analyst, translating requirements into overall functional design, integration specifications and reporting.Design and develop SharePoint and Power Platform solutions based on client requirements.Document and manage solutions using DevOps.Use Power Platform, Copilot Studio and AI Foundry to design and develop complex AI agents.Provide senior‑level technical knowledge to resolve complex problems.Monitor new SharePoint, Power Platform and Microsoft suite features, ensuring proper communication and testing.Create sites, lists, views, forms, SharePoint Designer workflows and web parts.Build and maintain PowerApp and Power Automate workflows, including Dataverse for Model Driven Solutions.Mentor Developers on complex technical solutions and escalated matters.Collaborate with clients and project teams to confirm detailed architecture for complex solutions.Contribute requirements and costs to IT project plans, operating plans, implementation plans and ongoing service delivery.Prepare documentation including backup and recovery procedures and technical documentation.Perform maintenance, enhancements and ongoing SharePoint administration.Partner with project teams to provide input on new service delivery offerings.Maintain and upgrade skills in relation to new technologies.Adhere to ISTS standards and procedures.Qualifications
University or college graduate in computer science or related discipline with minimum 5 years SharePoint development experience or equivalent.Proficiency in SharePoint Online, M365, Power Automate, PowerApps, PowerShell, Python, GraphAPI, Copilot Studio and AI Foundry.Experience building solutions using Power Platform and integrating M365 and third‑party connectors via Azure DevOps and GitHub.Experience building PowerApps and workflows with network database integration.Certifications such as Azure Developer Associate, PowerPlatform Developer Associate, Azure AI Engineer Associate.Knowledge of IT service delivery best practices such as SDLC, PMBOK, COBIT and ITIL.Strong problem‑solving, analytical and organizational skills.Excellent judgment and decision‑making within scope of position.Skills / Abilities
Ability to travel to regional locations and work evenings, weekends, holidays, on‑call rotation or shift work.Attention to detail, proactive identification of opportunities and quick solution implementation.Strong interpersonal and communication skills for building partnerships with clients and technical teams.Capacity to handle fluctuating workloads, conflicting priorities and concurrent activities.Independent work style with a desire to learn and share knowledge.Team player with a commitment to service excellence, quality and client communication.Analytical, organizational and time‑management skills for independent or team work.Benefits and Perks
