Hours : 35 hours

Hiring Range : $50,000 - $60,000 (plus additional compensation incentives such as bonuses, pension, benefits and more)

As an integral member of the Business Operations team, you will be responsible for assisting with calls, responding to emails, entering donations and managing a number of work queues that require frequent interactions with donors and internal members of the PMCF team. Reporting to the Manager of Business Operations you will work together to provide an exceptional donor experience by responding to and resolving issues in a timely manner.

You will :

  • Serve as a point of contact for donor managers inquiring about donations
  • Scan cheques and save in folder and upload to the bank
  • Process credit card payments and cheque deposits
  • Enter gifts into the Foundation CRM (manually or through importing functions)
  • Review daily work queues and respond to requests in a timely manner
  • Follow PMCF priorities, processes, and policies to support the team and respond to inquiries in a timely manner
  • Adjust donations as needed
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to fulfill donors’ requests
  • Suggest improvements to processes that will enable an exceptional donor experience

Qualifications

  • Recent graduate or equivalent combination of education and experience in Business, Humanities or Social Sciences
  • 1+ years of experience in a data entry or administrative role
  • 1+ years of experience in a call center is an asset
  • Experience in fundraising (paid or volunteer)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with frequent interruptions
  • Ability to prioritize multiple incoming requests in a professional and timely manner
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams) is required
  • Working knowledge in Raiser’s Edge, Blackbaud CRM, Asana is an asset
  • Willingness and ability to learn new systems and tools
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to work across the foundation to find the answer to donor questions
  • Ability to adapt to new technology
  • Knowledge of process improvement or willingness to learn preferred
