Position Summary

We are looking for a hands-on leader to supervise and work alongside our fabrication team. The Lead Hand Fabricator will be responsible for coordinating the daily workflow, interpreting blueprints, and fabricating aluminum curtain wall and storefront systems to a high standard of precision and quality.

The ideal candidate is a skilled fabricator with proven leadership abilities who thrives on managing deadlines and mentoring a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead & Supervise : Coordinate, assign, and review the work of fabricators; provide hands-on guidance, training, and support.
• Fabrication : Read and interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, and cut lists to determine material requirements and fabrication procedures.
• Cutting & Machining : Accurately measure, cut, and machine aluminum extrusions using chop saws, miter saws, drills, and other shop equipment.
• Assembly : Oversee and participate in the assembly of frames for curtain walls, storefronts, and entrances, ensuring all components are joined, sealed, and finished to specification.
• Quality Control : Conduct regular checks to ensure all fabricated products meet our exacting standards for accuracy and quality.
• Workflow Management : Manage the flow of materials and projects through the shop to meet production schedules.
• Safety Leadership : Champion a safety-first culture by ensuring all team members adhere to safety protocols, use PPE, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
