Senior HR Business Partner

We are currently recruiting for an experienced HR Business Partner to join a busy manufacturing facility in Cornwall.

Reporting to the Director, Human Resources and partnering very closely with the Operations leadership teams at the facility, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day HR / LR related matters including investigations, talent acquisition, policy follow-through, employee relations, and performance management. This position provides support to employees on a variety of Human Resources functions. Qualifications :

• Post-secondary degree / education in Human Resources; CHRP or working towards CHRP designation is an asset.
• 5 years’ direct experience in a specialized HR / LR experience including : Hands-on HR role
• Experience in a unionized manufacturing environment industry
• Extensive working knowledge of Employment Standards, Human Rights, and Labor legislation required
• Strong business acumen
• Excellent communication skills combined with demonstrated problem solving ability.
• Results orientated, self-starter with exceptional interpersonal skills
• Superior collaborative and teamwork skills with the ability to quickly shift priorities to meet organization requirements collectively.
• Strong professionalism and diplomacy pertaining to all areas of discretion and confidentiality.
• Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
