Sushi Mura Restaurant Ltd dba Sushi Mura is looking for full time permanent Cooks to join the team as soon as possible. If this ad is up, we are still hiring.

Job Details

Where : 5508 Hollybridge Way, Unit 115, Richmond, British Columbia V7C 0E2

Wage : $20.00 to $38.00 / hour (wage determined based on experience and qualifications; higher wage levels apply for candidates with more extensive experience)

Vacancies : 3

Terms of employment : Permanent employment, Full time 30 to 40 hours / week

Start date : As soon as possible

Work Setting : Restaurant

Benefit : 4 percent of total wages for vacation pay

Job requirements

Languages : English

Education : Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience : 2 years to less than 3 years

Capabilities - Able to :

  • Work in fast-paced environment
  • Stand for extended periods

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
  • Manage kitchen operations
