Technical Project Manager

On behalf of our client, Procom is looking for a Technical Project Manager. We are looking for someone who is a Project Manager with recent experience in cross-functional project management and software development. The successful candidate will plan, direct, manage, and coordinate the delivery and implementation of major or complex projects within cost, schedule and contract limitations while ensuring total customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Plans and ensures optimum use of shared resources; administers and monitors use against budget.
  • Directs the compilation of required data, including budget, time constraints, contracts & technical data.
  • Develops detailed schedules for major or complex projects, detailing all activities required for successful completion.
  • Interfaces with software developers, group leaders, contractors and others outside the company to obtain or provide program, technical and progress data.
  • Manage the delivery of various ECG projects using JIRA dashboards and the agile methodology (story / defect burndown) and report program progress
  • Host weekly ECG-level technical design reviews and understand dependencies on other software teams
  • Working with the D&R(s), deliver ECG software on time to internal & external customers (test releases, GPDS milestones, and future OTA Gondolas).
  • Track technical issues and find solutions for program problems as they arise.

Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or equivalent field of study.
  • Working level of knowledge in C / C++ programming
  • Previous experience with QNX and / or Linux OS development
  • 5+ years experience as a software developer with extensive experience in C, C++, Java, or other equivalents, knowledge of UNIX-based operating systems, ideally in the Embedded and RTOS Market.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Skills in project planning and management, decision making, critical thinking, problem solving.
  • Knowledge of applicable programmatic / technical procedures and specifications; awareness of program contractual processes.
  • Skills in effective leadership, innovation, analysis and communications.
  • Experience with software implementation project management, planning and deployments in an AGILE environment.
  • Experience with managing multiple concurrent projects with different time frames.
  • Development and / or managerial experience with In-vehicle infotainment and / or networking systems (CAN / Ethernet)
  • PMP or other relevant Project Management certifications
  • Duration : 12 months
