We are seeking a fully fluent Spanish-speaking Home Support Worker to provide compassionate, one-on-one care for a wonderful senior client in Richmond, BC . This is a language-specific role, as the client primarily speaks Spanish , so strong verbal communication in Spanish is essential.

Consistent one-on-one care — no rotating clients

Morning shift : 7 : 30 AM – 2 : 30 PM

Afternoon / Evening shift : 2 : 30 PM – 9 : 30 PM

Days may vary depending on client needs and Care Pro availability

One or both shifts may be available

Providing respectful personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting)

Supporting dementia-related needs with patience and reassurance

Offering medication reminders

Assisting with safe mobility at home and during outings

Preparing simple, nutritious meals

Light housekeeping and laundry

Engaging the client in meaningful and comforting activities

Observing and reporting any changes in condition

Responding calmly and safely in emergency situations

Your kindness, consistency, and Spanish-language support will make a real difference in this client’s quality of life.

✅ What We’re Looking For

Fluent Spanish speaker (required) — client primarily communicates in Spanish

Experience supporting seniors, particularly those with dementia

A compassionate, patient, and dependable personality

Comfortable providing one-on-one care in a home setting

Ability to perform essential job duties

Reliable transportation (driver’s license preferred)

Flexible availability

Minimum 1 year of experience in home care, healthcare, or a related field

High school diploma or equivalent
