Project Controls Specialist - Power BI and MS Excel
Job Description : Our client is looking for Project Controls Specialist to join the team.
Must Have Primary Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in project controls, scheduling, or related roles
- Demonstrated experience with Data Analytics - developing data visualizations using MS Excel, Power BI or other analytic tools; demonstrated experience with Financial Management Systems
- Strong understanding of project management principles and stage / gate processes.

Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules for all phases of Distribution Capital ProjectsDevelop and administer cost and resource-loaded project schedulesMonitor project progress and identify variances against baseline schedulesPrepare and deliver accurate cost reports, including earned vs. burned analysis, project cost and schedule metrics (CPI and SPI), and earned value reportsMonitor and update project schedules, milestones, and completion timetablesGenerate resource availability vs. requirement reports based on the Distribution Annual Capital Plan; provide monthly reports comparing actual vs. planned hours by resource typeIND1
