Project Controls Specialist - Power BI and MS Excel

Job Description : Our client is looking for Project Controls Specialist to join the team.

Must Have Primary Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline
A minimum of 5 years of experience in project controls, scheduling, or related roles
Demonstrated experience with Data Analytics - developing data visualizations using MS Excel, Power BI or other analytic tools; demonstrated experience with Financial Management Systems
Strong understanding of project management principles and stage / gate processes.

Nice To Have Secondary Skills

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Effective communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Proven Experience In

Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules for all phases of Distribution Capital Projects

Develop and administer cost and resource-loaded project schedules

Monitor project progress and identify variances against baseline schedules

Prepare and deliver accurate cost reports, including earned vs. burned analysis, project cost and schedule metrics (CPI and SPI), and earned value reports

Monitor and update project schedules, milestones, and completion timetables

Generate resource availability vs. requirement reports based on the Distribution Annual Capital Plan; provide monthly reports comparing actual vs. planned hours by resource type
