Here’s the opportunity : Bilingual Communications & Content Coordinator

As a Bilingual Communications & Content Coordinator , you will play a key role in supporting our Communications & Content team, part of Futurpreneur’s Marketing & Communications team. You will assist in the execution, and monitoring of Futurpreneur’s overall communications initiatives, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals.

Reporting to the Communications & Content Manager, you'll coordinate a variety of projects ranging from initiatives linked to owned, earned and paid channels, including but not limited to the website, the blog and our social channels, to collaborating on the development and the rollout of the content plan, while adhering to Futurpreneur's brand guidelines and standards. This position is perfect for a self-starter with a keen eye for detail and a knack for prioritizing actions that drive growth.

This is a permanent full-time position, based in our Toronto or Montreal office, operating under a hybrid work model (minimum 2 days in the office per week).

What you will do :

Support on Comms & Content – 60%

  • Assist in developing and executing internal and external communications initiatives, including but not limited to blog articles, social posts ad copy and other kinds of content, under the guidance of the Communications & Content Manager for the organization, regional teams, Core Startup Program, Indigenous Entrepreneur Startup Program, Black Entrepreneur Startup Program, and Side Hustle Program, as well as Programs and Partnerships.
  • Coordinate day-to-day operations, executional support across projects and ad-hoc requests from interdepartmental teams.
  • Coordinate assets, including the production and versioning of internal and external documents such as promotional packages, resources, stakeholder remarks and visual assets.
  • Work closely with the Social Media Specialist on developing a content calendar and coordinating the production of social posts across our channels.
  • Assist in moderating and responding to comments on our social channels, adhering to our brand guidelines and values.
  • Handle administrative duties such as, maintaining communication, awareness periods and content calendars and coordinating with external agencies or suppliers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Marketing support – 40%

  • Assist the MarCom team using tools such as Canva, Sprout Social and Monday.com.
  • Review French and English drafts, ensuring they adhere to the organization’s tone of voice, style and editorial guidelines.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and recommend innovative solutions as needed.
  • What you will have :

  • Relevant experience may include education with a focus in marketing, communications or equivalent hands-on career experience.
  • At least two years’ experience in communications.
  • Client or agency-side experience with non-profits, entrepreneurship, financing and / or banking considered an asset.
  • Digital fluency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Teams, Canva, various social media platforms and Monday.com. Experience with CRM platforms, WordPress, AI Platforms and social media would be considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated creativity and proficiency in creative writing, storytelling and visual assets production including images and videos.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French with exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail. You will be required to work daily with non-bilingual team members and / or clients across Canada and at head office in Toronto.
