We are looking for a Fixed-Term Logistics Coordinator to join our team.

What You’ll Do
As a Logistics Coordinator, you will :
- Collaborate with each operating area to plan and execute all programs owned by the logistics team.
- Maintain relationships with service providers and monitor service provider performance.
- Support the development and implementation of best practices in procurement, warehousing / transportation, inventory, and staging area management.
- Coordinate shipping, receiving, warehousing, inventory management, and transportation activities to ensure timely and efficient resource flow.
- Assist in developing area response plans by sourcing and engaging external resources as per operational / logistical requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of all external response contractors within the dedicated database.
- Assist the training team in coordinating training of service providers.
- Work effectively as a team member with designated area staff and other employee groups.
What You Bring
Completion of a post-secondary degree or diploma, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.A minimum of three of previous business experience, preferably in a Supply Chain management and / or within a store’s environment.Knowledge or experience with Warehousing.Strong computer skills with ability to effectively utilize MS Office applications and other operational software applications, including the use of mobile devices.Preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills, detail oriented and dependable.Must be capable of lifting and carrying up to 50lbs on a regular basis.Valid forklift certificate is considered an asset.Endorsement 20 (heavy trailer) is considered an asset.Must be willing and able to work outdoors under inclement weather.Flexible with scheduling and availability.Why Join WCMRC?
