What will you be doing?

• Acts as leader and company subject matter expert in the area of BI, analytics, and analytics strategy
• Develop strategy and a practical roadmap for an enterprise-wide BI reporting and analytics platform
• Recommend appropriate technologies to support the implementation of the BI roadmap
• Define the overall BI data architecture, including ETL processes, operational data store (ODS), enterprise data warehouse (EDW), data marts, and data lakes as appropriate
• Work across IT and Master Data Management teams to ensure accurate, complete, and quality data is the foundation of our analytic platforms
• Work with data architect and third party providers to insure that logical and physical data models support the analytic needs of the business
• Provide BI technical and architectural guidance to projects and teams, ensuring that new initiatives enable effective reporting and analysis
• Ensure that architectural designs adhere to standards / principles and follow usability design standards.
• Design, coordinate, and execute pilots, prototypes or proof of concepts to validate business opportunities as well as oversee all BI related implementations across business functions
• Act as IT liaison for BI across business functions and work with various decision makers, business partners, and customers to develop best in class BI and analytics solutions
• Collaborate with key business users to identify needs and opportunities for improved data management and delivery
• Partner with the business functions to development Metrics, KPI's, and analytic solutions to address their information needs
• Ensure effective communication and documentation of user requirements and related solutions

What do you bring?

• Bachelor's degree in technology, business, or equivalent from an accredited four-year institution
• 2-3+ years of experience in BI and analytics
• Experience in the design and building of enterprise data warehouses and related processes
• Familiarity in working with both custom built Data Warehouses or predefined Data Warehouse models
• Excellent understanding of data modeling, SQL and ETL
• Experience in multiple database platforms, including SQL Server, Oracle and DB2
• Experience with the following : Microsoft Analytics Platform and related applications, Web Focus, or other BI technologies (e.

g. Qlik, Tableau, in memory analytics, etc.)

Experience hosting and delivering cloud based analytic solutions (e.g. via AWS and Azure)
