Job Description :
Our client is highly established in the financial services space and is looking for a driven Sustainability Reporting Senior Manager to join their growing team. Reporting to the Director, Financial & Sustainability Reporting, the Senior Manager will play a key role in : continuing to deliver industry leading sustainability reporting; staying abreast of emerging sustainability standards and developing recommendations on how they apply to the company; and leading the adoption and enhancement of sustainability reporting, processes, and controls.
Responsibilities of the Senior Manager is as follows but not limited to :
- Leading the consolidated carbon metric reporting included in the annual report, along with other sustainability reporting requirements
- Manage and develop a high-performing sustainability reporting team
- Collaborating closely with the Sustainable Investing team and industry peers to ensure alignment with sustainability reporting standards and best practices
- Being a subject matter expert in sustainability reporting and delivering education in this space across the organization
- Influence and engage with teams across to enhance sustainability reporting practices to meet growing disclosure requirements
- Researching and analyzing evolving sustainability reporting standards and preparing briefings and recommendations for senior leaders
- Evolving sustainability reporting processes and enhancing controls
- Engaging with external and internal auditors on sustainability reporting engagements
- Participating in technical training and development opportunities
- Other contributions, as the team may need and as opportunities arise

Job Requirements :
Minimum 7+ years of relevant experience in sustainability reporting, ideally within pensions, asset management, or other financial servicesKnowledgeable on sustainability reporting standards and frameworks such as IFRS Sustainability Standards, TCFD, and GRIExceptional interpersonal and communication skills to collaboratively engage with a wide range of teams and colleaguesMinimum 3+ years in a leadership position coaching and developing staffComfortable with change and ambiguity and can problem solve on complex / evolving topicsAbility to conduct research, draw insights and convey ideas clearly and conciselyA self-starter who can work both independently and with a team, while fostering a collegial team cultureUnderstanding of financial reporting and internal controls would be an assetHigh proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel; experience in Alteryx and Power BI is an assetApply
