Contract Type :

Temporary 1.00 FTE; Full Time (approximately 30 hours per week)

• Monday - Thursday : 8 : 15 AM to 3 : 15 PM
• Friday : 8 : 15 AM to 11 : 50 AM (Staff will be required to stay longer when training is being held)

Duration of Position :

Immediately - February 18, 2026; with the possibility of extension

ABOUT THE POSITION :

We are seeking applications for an Educational Assistant to work with our Kindergarten students to prepare them for the grades ahead. This is a temporary full-time contract beginning immediately to January 30, 2026.

Everything we do in Grasslands supports student learning and achievement and this position requires an applicant who works well under pressure and in energetic environments while upholding the values of the division. This role requires pertinence, kindness, and resiliency, and an understanding of the importance of this role for our students, colleagues, and community.

Eastbrook Elementary School is a dynamic and diverse elementary school serving our local communities and families. We offer a comprehensive PUF program for 3 & 4-year-olds, an Early English Language Learners program for qualifying 4-year-olds, an English Language Learner program for students arriving with little or no English language skills, and an engaging learning program for Grades Kindergarten to Grade 6.
