Steps away from the main public transit station What we offer:Highly competitive compensation package which includes base salary bonus benefits and career advancement opportunities! *Eligibility for benefits is dependent on the terms of employmentThe Opportunity The Collections Administrator is responsible for providing administrative support to the collections team including preparation of all reporting requirements and weekly reconciliations for the collections department. How you will contribute: Audit & process daily Representment report and maintain daily tracking report (volume of NSF items)Prepare and write-up files for legal action reviewPrepare daily reports utilized by Investors Management and the Special Accounts departmentIdentify scan and distribute daily mail faxesAudit and process monthly invoices for property management companiesDistribute incoming cheques and liaise with accounting for cheque processingComplete all bankruptcy documentation and distribute to TrusteeManage and audit common expense arrearsProvide support to the management and collections team where required in all areas of administrationAct as backup for Default Management AdministratorsOther duties as assignedAdheres to policies/procedures to ensure AML requirements are met when applicableThe experience you need: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and WordAbility to prioritize and organize daily workflowStrong analytical and problem solving skillsAbility to work in a timely and efficient manner with focused attention to detailExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsInitiative to learn new skills and improve processesWorking Environment and Physical Demands Analysis:Office environmentPeriods of high volume with tight timelinesLong periods of stationary position/sittingProlonged periods of repetitive movement (i.e. using a keyboard and mouse)Long periods of time in viewing a computer screenMulti-tasking may include speaking to customers on a telephone call while looking up information on a computer join First NationalCompetitive Compensation Comprehensive benefits program (i.e. Health Spending Account Maternity and Parental Leave Top Up)Extensive training programs to set our employees up for success Modern office environment conducive to collaborationSupportive teamwork culture Opportunities to give back to the communities and work through events focused on a variety of charities Ongoing social events throughout the year The team youll join: Founded in 1988 First National is one of Canadas largest non-bank lenders.
