Join FedEx , a globally recognized leader in logistics and transportation, as a Cargo Handler in Ottawa, ON . This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment while developing valuable warehouse and logistics skills .

About the Role : Cargo Handler

This position focuses on ensuring efficient freight handling, compliance with procedures, and smooth operations. Your main responsibilities include :

  • Loading and unloading freight and managing package movements within facilities.
  • Sorting and scanning freight to ensure accuracy.
  • Safely transporting freight between locations while adhering to FedEx Canada operations standards .

    • Shift : Monday to Friday, 2 : 30 PM to 7 : 30 PM

    Requirements / Skills

    To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications :

  • High School Diploma or GED (preferred).
  • Valid G driver’s license with a good driving record.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and maneuver packages up to 150 lbs using appropriate equipment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to complete all required training.
  • Familiarity with FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations (preferred).
