The Key Attributes We Look For Are The Following

• Thoroughly proficient in the subject being taught. (High school students will bring in the topic of the day and tutors need to be comfortable enough to jump in and help the student regardless of where they are in the syllabus.)
• Have the ability to break down the skills being studied and explain them in a way that will make sense to a high school student (as opposed to a 3rd or 4th year university student).
• Have a great sense of humour and enjoy working with teenagers.
• A willingness to commit to working through to the end of JUNE as that is when the students are taking exams and need their tutors the most.

Our hours count–gain valuable teaching experience! Oxford Learning Cambridge is currently seeking part-time teacher-tutors for roles in our learning centre for the upcoming school year (2025-2026). If you love working with students, enjoy teaching language skills, and want to help others build their academic confidence, this position is perfect for you.

Position Overview : As a Teacher-Tutor at Oxford Learning, you will have the opportunity to work with Elementary students in reading, writing, math and French and / or with High School students in math (through Calculus), physics, chemistry, biology, and English. Our Teacher-Tutors do not have to worry about lesson planning, as all lessons are pre-planned. You will be fully trained in our proprietary philosophy and methods, allowing you to focus on what you do best – teaching!
