Description de posteLeading, coaching and overseeing the Feed & Grain Accounting team, including coaching, development, and performance management. Overseeing month-end close, reporting, and variance analysis. Performing and reviewing general ledger reconciliations. Acting as a key liaison between accounting and operational departments (logistics, purchasing, feed operations, etc.). Identifying inefficiencies and leading process improvements to streamline workflows, strengthen controls, and reduce manual effort. Supporting with banking approvals Supporting the Director of Accounting with oversight of finance transactions and processes. Performing other related duties as assigned University degree in accounting CPA designation or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience. Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience managing, coaching, and developing accounting teams. Demonstrated success in building efficient processes, improving controls, and driving operational improvements. Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills. Proven ability to lead and motivate teams across multiple locations and functional levels. Advanced proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Office applications. High level of accuracy with exceptional attention to detail. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage unexpected issues in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving ability.
