Job Description

What's the job? The Sandwich Maker is an integral member of the culinary team. Working night shifts, the Sandwich Maker prepares a wide variety of sandwich and specialty items to fulfill the bagged lunch program. The Sandwich Maker will work with culinary leads to present attractive and well-prepared products each day.

Work Location Context

The position involves a remote work lifestyle in a Nunavut camp setting with the following amenities :

• All meals and accommodations are provided
• Travel is provided to and from the site locations from a designated hub location in Edmonton, AB
• Private room with cable television
• Access to Wi-Fi
• Access to laundry facilities and detergents
• Access to a gym and common areas

Work Schedule and Remuneration

Sandwich Makers operate on a 4 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation. Site locations are remote, requiring air travel to site from Edmonton, AB. Shifts may include nights, weekdays, weekends and holidays. Wages start at $19.75 per hour.
