We are seeking a skilled and motivated Ground Services Equipment (GSE) Technician to join our Conair team. The GSE Technician will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of ground support equipment used in the aviation industry. This includes aircraft tugs, ground power units, golf carts, tractors, hydraulic jacks, vehicles, and other specialized equipment critical to Conair operations.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Equipment Inspection :
• Conduct routine inspections of ground support equipment to identify and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Perform pre-use checks to ensure equipment is in optimal condition for operational use.
• Maintenance and Repair :
• Execute preventive maintenance tasks according to manufacturer guidelines.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform necessary repairs promptly.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to address complex technical issues.
• Documentation :
• Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repair activities.
• Document inspection results and provide detailed reports on the condition of the equipment.
• Compliance and Safety :
• Adhere to safety protocols and ensure all maintenance activities comply with industry regulations and standards.
• Participate in safety training programs to stay updated on best practices and regulations.
• Inventory Management :
• Monitor and manage spare parts inventory to ensure the availability of necessary components for timely repairs.
• Pick up parts from suppliers as needed.
• Collaborate with other maintenance and operational teams to ensure seamless ground support operations.
• Provide technical support to other departments as necessary.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
