Description de posteReads and interprets electrical, mechanical, and architectural drawings and electrical code specifications. Pulls wire through conduits, holes, and splice, join, and connect wire to form circuits. Assists with installing, replacing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems / equipment. Tests circuits to ensure integrity and safety. Participates / complies with company safety programs & company policies. Provides on-call support as required. Other duties as required. Registered Apprentice, preferred. Standard First Aid / CPR with AED; H2S Alive, CSO, CSTS. Experience in oil and gas industry is an asset. Successful completion of a pre-employment drug and alcohol test (required for safety-sensitive roles). Completion of a criminal background check, with results assessed based on relevance to the position. Verification of a clean driving record, as defined by Control Tech’s standards (e.g., no major violations, no more than 3 infractions in the past 5 years). Job Brief :
The Electrical Apprentice field technician will work with and learn from Journeyman Electricians and other apprentices. The Apprentice will be shown practical skills and learn to test, calibrate, install, repair, and inspect manufacturing equipment and monitoring devices.
