Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and creative Marketing Coordinator with at least one year of experience in marketing to support our marketing team in executing campaigns, managing digital channels, and driving brand awareness. As a key player in our marketing department, you will help implement strategies to grow our audience, enhance engagement, and contribute to the overall success of our marketing efforts.

This position is supported by government funding and will be subject to the terms of the grant. The candidate needs to be under 30, Graduated last two years, PR / Canadian and Post Graduate or University.

Key Responsibilities

  • Campaign Support : Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of marketing campaigns across various channels (email, social media, content marketing, etc.).
  • Content Creation : Develop engaging and creative content for marketing materials such as blog posts, social media updates, newsletters, and promotional materials.
  • Social Media Management : Help manage and update social media platforms, engage with followers, and track key performance metrics.
  • Market Research : Conduct market research to gather insights on customer behavior, trends, and competitor activities to inform marketing strategies.
  • Analytics and Reporting : Track and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns using analytics tools. Provide regular reports on KPIs and suggest improvements.
  • Email Marketing : Assist in creating and managing email marketing campaigns, including drafting content, segmenting lists, and analyzing performance.
  • Event Support : Assist with the coordination of marketing events, including trade shows, webinars, and promotional events.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams (sales, product, design) to ensure marketing initiatives align with business goals and branding.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience : At least 1 year of experience in a marketing role, preferably in digital marketing, content creation, or brand management.
  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Skills :
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.) and social media management tools.
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact).
  • Basic knowledge of SEO and Google Analytics is a plus.

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently or in a team setting.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to deadlines.
  • A passion for marketing and staying up-to-date with industry trends.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress.
  • Knowledge of graphic design software (Adobe Photoshop, Canva, etc.) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with paid advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook Ads) is a plus.
  • Candidate need to be at the office at-lease 2 times per week in down town Toronto.
