About the role:

We’re looking for a VP of Finance to work directly with clients, managing their financial accounting processes and guiding them through financial strategy and cash flow management. You’ll be a trusted advisor to founders and executives, ensuring they understand their numbers and make informed, strategic decisions.

This is a fully remote position, and we value autonomy. We don’t micromanage, but we do expect results. You should be proactive, confident in leading financial discussions, and comfortable collaborating through modern communication and task management tools.

Main responsibilities:

• Act as a financial partner to clients, providing insights and guidance on financial performance and growth
• Review financials with clients, deep‑diving into KPIs, profitability, and efficiencies
• Support Accounting teams to ensure financial data is accurate and high‑quality
• Advise clients on cash flow management, financing strategies, and capital allocation

Qualifications:

• Deep experience with the eCommerce (or consumer goods) industry
• 7+ years in an accounting or finance role
• Strong financial modeling and forecasting abilities, with advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills
• Excellent grasp of full‑cycle accounting processes
• Proficiency with QBO and/or Xero is required (NetSuite is a bonus)
