Regal Security Inc. is currently seeking a full time Tactical Security Guard at Seaway Mall in Welland, ON.

- Able to work as an effective team member and assist in leading other team members accordingly
- Firm understanding of the Trespass to Property Act and Criminal Code of Canada
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Provide outstanding and personalized customer service as a front-line representative of Regal Security and the represented siteComplete walking patrols, vehicle patrols, and inspections of the site’s infrastructure and equipment, report any hazards, deficiencies, etc. to ensure safety and securityRespond to all emergency situations and calls to service (service calls, medical emergencies, disturbances, rule violations, building issues, etc.)Address any complaints and document reports and incidents. Notify Supervisors and Property Manager as requiredMaintain a daily notebookEnsure the integrity of the building (doors, accessible areas are secure during and after building hours)Report all incidents, on‑site activities, positive interactions and service challenges to the Security Supervisor / Security ManagerDevelop and maintain a positive professional relationship with tenants, customers, emergency services, and other agencies as they relate to the represented siteEnforce property rules and regulations including the Trespass to Property Act in order to maintain the security and safety of the clients and their assetsActively Monitor CCTV, fire systems, and access systemsReview, understand, and follow site post orders as identified for represented siteDuties as otherwise assigned by the Security Manager / Senior Management TeamQualifications
A proven background with a minimum of 1 year security experience in a commercial setting5 years residence in Canada is mandatoryStrong verbal and written communication skillsUse of Force certification would be an assetA university degree and / or College diploma in a relevant field (Police Foundations, Protection, Security, and Investigation, Criminology, etc.) would be an assetValid Security LicenceValid First Aid / CPR & AED CertificationWHMIS CertificationHolder of a valid G Driver’s License with a clean drivers abstract and record of insurance + over the age of 25 for insurance purposesStrong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks concurrentlyStrong investigation, research, and strategic analytical skillsStrong administration, project management, and multi-tasking skillsAdapts well to challenges and works well under pressureComputer literacy and proficiency required. Strong working skills with iOS, Windows Devices, Microsoft Office, and Google SoftwareCompensation
