What You Will Do :

Provide advanced recommendations related to multiple product applications and optimization. Highly proficient in production system troubleshooting, product selection, application, and articulating solutions to the internal and external customer.

Participate in all types of field work including sampling and testing. Transfer the knowledge through active training and coaching to colleagues.

Develop technically appropriate product selections to maximize profitability when recommending products and programs.

Engage in problem solving by performing system analyses, interpreting data, and providing written recommendations to ensure customer operations are performing at optimal levels.

Become a trusted partner in team-selling by routinely solving complex customer problems across multiple chemistry product lines. Provide support to peers as well as salespeople for more complex situations. Support customers in jeopardy situations.

Develop and deploy best practices for numerous products and programs within an industry segment.

Responsible for collaborating with our Sales team to influence, read and respond to customer requests for proposal’s (RFP’s) and their specifications.

Accountable for a project load that includes scoping, production fluid testing, implementation, and liaising with our research, development & engineering team as well as subject matter experts.

Ensure a safe work environment, promote a safety culture, and actively participate in achieving goal zero inclusive of promptly reporting every incident, near miss, or injury.

Position Details :

Candidate must reside in Grande Prairie, AB or surrounding areas.

Must have a valid Driver’s License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record

This is a safety sensitive role and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.

No immigration sponsorship offered for this role.

Travel 20%, possible overnight travel to support team territory

Minimum Qualifications :

University Degree or College Diploma in relevant field (science or engineering).

Industry experience is preferred, preference given to Technical Service experience.

Physical Demands :

Must have the ability to Lift / Push / Pull / Carry up to 55 pounds chest high.

Preferred Qualifications :

Effective time management, ability to multi-task

Experience in Technical Service or Sales specific to production chemicals

Experience in providing recommendations for oilfield product application and optimization

Recognized within the local industry as proficient in troubleshooting, product selection, application, and articulating solutions to the internal and external customers

Personality, attitude, behavior, and work ethic conductive to our company culture

Demonstrated ability to function with agility and interdependence and an advanced knowledge of customers, problems, and solutions across team territory

Demonstrated resilience to succeed over a wide range of broad, diverse situations across team territory

Advanced technical sales focused communication skills; both written and verbal

Advanced interpersonal skills

Advanced skills in coaching and mentoring that enable internal customer

Advanced negotiation and problem-solving skills
