Day Shift Supervisor

We are currently looking fora Production Supervisor(7A-7P) who will reflect our Company’s core values. We are looking for applicants who possess strongleadership skills, have an overall basic understanding of the operations of the plastic industry, excellent communication skills, and are willing to continue to learn and improve their leadership ability .

Job Description Summary

General Purpose

The Shift Supervisor must be a team leader and have the knowledge and experience to oversee production and the process along with leadership skills to guide and train his or her personnel as needed. He or she is responsible for overseeing the daily operations which include manufacturing, processing and packaging of finished products and materials, and is responsible for employee performance during their particular shift to ensure that all standards and policies are met and surpassed at all times.

General Responsibilities and tasks include but not limited to :

• Follows and directs others to follow the company’s policies and procedures.
• Ensures all company policies, procedures and standards are communicated effectively, maintained and followed in a constant manner.
• Organizes work throughout the facility while he or she performs and directs others to complete the cleaning and operational tasks
• Assign personnel to their respective lines and job tasks for that day.
• Fill out a production sheet for his or her shift.
• Set up orders properly and in a timely manner.
• Oversee that all personnel are dressed appropriately with the correct PPE gear as needed and is following the GMP’s.
• Supervise all elements of the production operations.
• Assure quality of the film being produced meets the company standards and customer specifications.
• Assure all lines are manned at all times to consistently monitor proper film production.

Keep the line running with minimal downtime and generated scrap.
