What You’ll Do
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize PLC systems (Allen‑Bradley, TI, Modicon)
- Program and integrate ABB robots for automated processes
- Design, install, and maintain electrical control systems and network infrastructure
- Conduct preventive maintenance and diagnostics to reduce downtime
- Support commissioning of new equipment and retrofit projects
- Perform root cause analysis and recommend solutions for electrical issues
- Maintain up‑to‑date documentation of PLC programs, robot configurations, and schematics
- Ensure full compliance with electrical safety standards (LOTO, codes, etc.)
- Collaborate with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams to improve performance
- Mentor and support technical staff to build in‑house expertise
What You Bring
Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology8+ years of North American experience in industrial automation and controlsProficiency in Allen‑Bradley RSLogix / Studio 5000, TI Soft, and Modicon platformsStrong ABB robot programming and maintenance experienceFamiliarity with communication protocols such as Ethernet / IP, DH+, and ModbusSkilled in reading and creating electrical schematics and control circuitsTPM knowledge and CMMS experience are assetsKey Strengths for Success
