Job Description :

• Associate should be a strong in Mainframe development with 6 to 8 years of experience.
• Associate should have experience in JCL, COBOL, VSAM and DB2.
• Associate should have good knowledge in the Unix scripting.
• Good knowledge in Agile.
• Good Knowledge in Card Domain (Issuing end)
• Good knowledge in Unix Scripting
• Aware of end-to-end Card lifecycle.
• Good knowledge in Cards Domain
• Provide support for fixing defects during the testing cycle.
• Managing the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment.
• Providing technical solutions, performing code reviews, enforcing coding standards, and ensuring the quality of deliverables.
• Diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to mainframe applications.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business needs and designing technical solutions.
• Keeping abreast of industry trends and technologies to recommend improvements and innovative solutions.
• Identifying opportunities to improve the software development process and team productivity.
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation, including functional and technical specifications.
• Working with other teams, such as business analysts and QA, to deliver successful projects.
• Identifying and mitigating technical risks.
• Providing guidance and support to other team members.
• Conducting code reviews to ensure adherence to standards and best practices.
• Optimizing mainframe systems for performance and efficiency.
• Providing support for testing efforts, including defect resolution.
• Participating in release management activities.
• Understanding the business needs and how mainframe applications support those needs.
