Senior Accountant

Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to support core accounting functions and ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial reporting. This role is responsible for core accounting support across assets, inventory, reconciliations, and period‑end close. The ideal candidate will bring experience in public practice audit, strong working‑paper preparation skills, and the ability to support external reporting and audit oversight.

Your success will be defined by your ability to:

• Manage fixed‑asset accounting including capital additions, depreciation, and disposals
• Maintain accurate inventory accounting and support valuation in a manufacturing‑focused environment
• Prepare complete, well‑documented balance‑sheet reconciliations and supporting working papers
• Execute daily bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies quickly
• Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Contribute to month‑end and year‑end close activities including audit preparation and external reporting
• Handle intercompany transactions including reconciliations and eliminations with precision
• Strengthen internal controls and collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting issues
• Assist in developing improved accounting structure and scalable processes

Your strengths include:

• CPA designation with 3-5 years of full‑cycle accounting experience
• 2-3 years of public practice audit experience
• Strong technical skills in financial reporting, reconciliations, and general ledger management
• Experience or interest in manufacturing or project‑based accounting
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications
• High attention to detail and strong analytical capability
• Ability to work independently while being an effective collaborator
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
• A proactive mindset with a focus on efficiency and continuous improvement
