Overview

Fairmont Chateau Whistler is nestled at the base of Blackcomb Mountain, two hours north of Downtown Vancouver. We define mountain luxury with ski-in, ski-out access in winter and an on-site championship golf course in summer. As Whistler's largest conference resort hotel, we offer 5 unique dining outlets, a slope-side Health Club, and 519 guestrooms and suites.

Student Opportunities

If you are talented, motivated and enrolled in a Hospitality, Tourism, Culinary or Hotel & Restaurant Management program, our Spring / Summer 2026 student positions connect classroom study to day-to-day operations at Canada’s premier resort.

Fairmont Chateau Whistler is recruiting for the following student opportunities to start in Spring / Summer 2026 :

• Housekeeping – Room Attendant
• Third Cook
• Stewarding Attendant (Kitchen Dishwasher)
• Golf Operations / Turf Care
• Server Assistant
• Host
• Banquets / In-Room Dining Server
• Barista / Deli Attendant
• Reservations & Royal Service Agent
• Guest Services Attendant

Successful applicants will be matched to available positions based on previous relevant work experience, area of study, and the hotel’s operational requirements. For this opportunity you must be currently enrolled in a Hospitality, Tourism, Recreation, Turf Care, Golf Operations or Culinary program.

Starting Pay

Ranging from $18.10 - $22.95 per hour, depending on the position.
