Job Description

Our growing Infrastructure team in Ontario is looking for a Structural Engineering Trainee to join our Mississauga office. You will work on water and wastewater infrastructure projects, the original sustainable projects.

Our projects include everything water and wastewater related, water storage, pumping facilities, treatment facilities, equipment storage buildings, administration, and laboratory buildings too. We are part of a larger team that provides full multidiscipline support for each project.

You will have the opportunity to take part in our hybrid work model that includes flexible work hours, working from home and in our Mississauga office.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist in structural design and prepare drawings and specifications
  • Determine construction costs and quantities, and carry out studies and technical reports
  • Conduct field work including investigations / inspections for the design, retrofit, remediation and construction of structures
  • Review progress and compliance of construction work in accordance with tender documents

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering
  • 1 to 3 years of structural engineering experience within heavy civil projects (water or wastewater projects are considered asset)
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
