Job Description : Position : Polisher

Entry level position
Day Shift
Markham Area

If you are a hardworking and committed worker, experienced with manufacturing of steel tubing; you will be interested in this full-time position in the Markham area.

The Company

Our client is a top leader with many years’ of experience in manufacturing of custom tubing components.

Position Summary

You will be working on polishing cutters

Must be able to use small hand tools and machinery

Ability to do repetitive work sharpening cutting tools

You will need to check that quality meets expectations according to specific work orders

Complete production logs and reports as required

Disposing of scrap and packaging when needed

Skills and Knowledge

Demonstrates responsibility, initiative and good attitude

Must be detail oriented and a perfectionist

Good communication skills and ability to follow verbal and written instructions

Demonstrates the ability to troubleshoot by being aware of deficiencies

Able to maintain good working relationships with co-workers and supervisors

Working Environment

Manufacturing environment, machinery, equipment and tooling

Hot, noisy environment

Steel toed safety shoes, and all personal protective equipment
