Clerical Associate Emergency

Reporting to the Clinical Service Manager you will work closely with the team leader staff and physicians to provide clerical support as required.

Accountabilities :

Reception

Telephone answering

Transcribing doctors orders

Booking of clinic appointments

Order entry

Receiving admitting and discharging of patients

Oher related duties as assigned

Qualifications :

• High school diploma
• Medical terminology course / certificate required
• Minimum of two years recent related experience
• Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills
• Word processing and computer experience; Meditech and Windows
• 45 / wpm typing skills
• Previous ward clerk / clerical associate experience
• Must demonstrate Oslers Values of Respect Excellence Service Compassion Innovation and Collaboration
• Excellent attendance punctuality and work record
• May be required to travel between and work at all Osler sites

Additional Information :

Currently Days / Evenings / Nights including weekends and statutory holidays (subject to change in accordance with operational requirements)

Salary :

Minimum :   $26.31 per hour

Maximum : $28.49 per hour
