Job Title : Logistics Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator responsible for ensuring efficient operations within our distribution center. This role involves managing logistics processes, including printing manifests, reviewing manifest discrepancy reports, and handling equipment documentation. You will work closely with 200 drivers daily through our driver app and address any phone call issues with vendors.

Responsibilities

• Print manifests for loads and ensure seals are correct.
• Review Manifest Discrepancy Reports (MDR) for accuracy.
• Monitor the Driver app to manage 200 drivers daily.
• Handle issues related to purchase orders, loads, and vendor communication.
• Resolve equipment issues such as flat tires and truck breakdowns.
• Document equipment exchanges when trailers are returned.
• Complete drivers' day in the system for performance confirmation.

Work Environment

This position requires onsite work within a warehousing / distribution center. The role operates on two different shifts, both running from 7 PM to 7 AM. Shift one includes working Sunday to Wednesday in week one, and Sunday to Tuesday in week two. Shift two covers Thursday to Saturday in week one, and Wednesday to Saturday in week two. This is a dynamic and fast-paced environment offering numerous opportunities for growth and development within the logistics sector.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50 / hr.
