This role is part of their A&D Application Engineering team located in St‑Laurent, Montreal, providing a dynamic environment where technical excellence and collaboration drive every project.

Your new role

As a Design Engineer II, you will be responsible for designing, modelling, and analyzingponents using CATIA. You will create detailed 3D models, 2D drawings, and installation documentation in line with customer and industry requirements. Working closely with cross‑functional teams, you will participate in design reviews, validate design performance, support prototype development, and ensure all engineering documentation is accurate and up to date. This is a full‑time, 6‑month contract with the possibility of extension.

What you'll need to succeed

To thrive in this position, you’ll bring:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
• Proven experience using CATIA for 3D modelling and 2D drafting
• Strong understanding of CAD principles, mechanical design, and design validation
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and high attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively within cross‑functional teams
• Strong verbal and writtenmunication skills in both French and English
• Experience with PLM systems (considered an asset)
• Ability to support prototype development, testing phases, and documentation updates
