Brandt is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Technology located in our Nisku location. This position is responsible for working with the Shop Manager, Sr. Manufacturing Engineers and other departments within the org and vendors outside the Org to improve efficiency and product quality by designing manufacturing processes, fixtures, workflows, equipment, and vendor equipment integration. The documentation integration to produce seamless Operators, parts and service manuals for the dealer channel is also a part of this position.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Working closely with the Shop manager, vendor installation drawing, instructions and shop floor to develop efficient upfitting flow to improve efficiencies and increase quality of products being built
- Maximizing efficiency by analyzing layout of process equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and workforce utilization
- Utilizing the appropriate tools and methodologies of lean manufacturing to inspire continuous improvement operating excellence
- Managing projects from concept to completion
- Creating and implementing meaningful metrics that can be used to benchmark performance and highlight future opportunities
- Documenting process methods and developing standard operating procedures
- Managing record keeping for Nation Safety Mark (NSM)
- Other duties as assigned
