Fountain Tire High River – Automotive Technician

Fountain Tire High River is looking for a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team!

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose cause of any malfunction on a customer’s vehicle
  • Perform appropriate repairs with accuracy and efficiency
  • Complete approved service on customer vehicles
  • Test and adjust vehicle systems to manufacturer’s performance specifications
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service, such as oil changes, lubrications, and tune‑ups
  • Advise customers and associates on work performed, general vehicle condition, and future repair requirements
  • Maintain mechanical service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis
  • Operate company and customer vehicles in a clean and safe manner
  • Support customer relationships by responding to customer inquiries

    • Qualifications

  • Fully licensed in the Automotive Service Technician trade with ability to conduct out‑of‑province inspections and Commercial Vehicle Inspection Program (CVIP)
  • Willing and able to work a flexible schedule to complete required work orders
  • Strong knowledge of the automotive industry and wheel alignment experience
  • Diagnostic specialist who enjoys keeping up with modern technology
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Commitment to providing a superior customer experience
  • Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driver’s abstract from province of residence on an annual basis
