I am currently recruiting an Inclusion Support Worker for my adult son to be in relationship in community. I need your help to ensure that he is continually finding ways to expand his world by meeting new people, trying new things, and exploring interests.
The successful candidate will be directly employed by myself (through PDD Family Managed Supports). Rate of pay is between $20 and $22/hour. Looking for both someone who could commit 2 or 3 days a week to this position as well as someone who is interested in doing evening community hours (example: Tigers Games, college basketball games, going out to listen to bands or play pool…etc.). For the right candidate(s) this would be a hugely rewarding opportunity. Note that references and record checks will be required.

Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities to include:
•assistance with, and support for increased independence in household care and management
•assistance with, and support for increased independence in personal care and management
•assistance with establishing and maintaining connections within the community
•accompanying and providing support with community, recreational and leisure activities (enjoyment of going to sporting events would be an asset)
•ongoing evaluation and planning with service provider and other support workers
•support and facilitation in expand use of augmentative communication devise (experience in this area is not necessary - training and support will be provided)
•maintenance of client confidentiality
Pay Rate
Between $20 and $22 per hour
