Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Computer Science Engineer to join our dynamic team at an Agtech startup. As a Computer Science Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining cutting-edge technologies that revolutionize the agriculture industry.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background / interest in developing skills in Web App Development, Python data analytics, MySQL, microprocessor programming, and experience with cloud platforms like Google Cloud and AWS.

Proficiency in React, Flutter, and UI / UX design is also highly desirable

Duties

• Design, develop, and optimize software solutions for our agtech products and services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement software requirements.
• Perform data analytics using Python to derive meaningful insights from large datasets.
• Develop and maintain databases using MySQL for efficient data storage and retrieval. Utilize cloud platforms such as Google Cloud and AWS to deploy and manage scalable applications.
• Design and implement intuitive user interfaces using React, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Develop server-side applications and APIs using Node.js / python for efficient data processing and communication.
• Collaborate with the UI / UX team to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.
• Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends, proactively suggesting improvements.
• Program and optimize microprocessors for embedded systems used in agricultural applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in microprocessor programming and experience with embedded systems. Solid programming skills in Python for data analytics and manipulation.
• Proficiency in working with MySQL or other relational databases.
• Experience with cloud platforms like Google Cloud and AWS, including deployment and management.
• Proficiency in React for building modern user interfaces and responsive web applications. Understanding API creation.
• Knowledge of UI / UX principles and ability to create visually appealing designs. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a strong attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with the capacity to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proactive and self-motivated, with a passion for staying up-to-date with emerging technologies.
