Accounts Receivable Accountant

Do you want to join a dynamic team where your skills will be fully utilized?We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Accountant to manage the full cycle of accounts receivable and contribute to the accuracy and reliability of our financial information. This is a strategic role: beyond invoicing, you will be involved in variance analysis, journal entry preparation, monthly closings, and audit support.Key Responsibilities:Accounts Receivable Management- Record incoming payments and reconcile client accounts.- Ensure accounts are updated in the general ledger.- Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments as needed.Closings and Accounting Operations- Prepare journal entries related to accounts receivable (adjustments, provisions, etc.).- Perform bank and intercompany reconciliations.- Actively participate in monthly and quarterly closings.Analysis and Reporting- Generate periodic reports (DSO, aging of accounts, performance indicators).- Analyze discrepancies and recommend improvements.- Support the preparation of financial statements and external audit documentation.Continuous Improvement- Identify risks and recommend corrective actions.- Optimize billing and collection processes to enhance financial performance.Qualifications:- Education: DEC in Accounting or Bachelor's degree in progress/completed.- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years in accounting, with experience in accounts receivable.- Proficiency in French - Technical Skills: Advanced Excel (formulas, pivot tables) and experience with accounting software (Sage, Acomba, or ERP).- Personal Attributes: Detail-oriented, analytical, able to manage priorities, strong collaboration skills.Other Language Requirement: English- Level of Proficiency Required: Advanced- Reasons for Language Requirement: communications with internal and external clients, for daily communications with US and Canada- Frequency of Use: DailyWhat We Offer:- Competitive salary- Vacation: 3-4 weeks based on experience (4 weeks after 7 years of experience)- Retirement plan: Employer contribution of 2% starting day 91, 3% after year 1-2, and 4% after 2 years- Group insurance including telemedicine (Dialogue)- Personal days bank and annual wellness allowance- Casual dress code- Hybrid work opportunitiesPlease send your resume in Word format to Guillermo Ovalle Zavala at guillermo.ovalle@quantum.ca.REFER A PERM HIRE AND EARN UP TO $1,000!
