The company, a national IT consulting organization, is seeking an experienced Business Process Re‑Engineering (BPR) Consultant, to support a major transformation initiative. This role is ideal for a consultant with strong process redesign experience, SAP knowledge, and hands‑on exposure to engineering and maintenance environments.The BPR Consultant will analyze, redesign, and optimize business processes across a complex enterprise environment. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to assess current workflows, identify improvement opportunities, and support the implementation of new processes and organizational structures. Experience with SAP (ideally SAP Plant Maintenance or DRMIS) is essential.
Responsibilities:- Review and assess existing business processes, workflows, and organizational structures
- Analyze business and functional requirements to map information flows and decision points
- Identify candidate processes for re‑engineering and prototype solution options
- Provide trade‑off analysis and recommend optimal courses of action
- Identify required modifications to automated processes
- Advise on new requirements and opportunities for efficiency and effectiveness
- Develop and integrate process and information models to eliminate redundancies
- Recommend new processes and organizational structures
- Support or lead implementation of redesigned processes and organizational changes
- Document workflows and process maps using modeling tools, such as Visio, ARIS, Blueworks, and Lucidchart
Requirements:- 5+ years of experience as a Business Process Re‑Engineering Consultant
- Demonstrated experience covering all core BPR responsibilities (process review, analysis, redesign, modeling, implementation support)
- 12+ consecutive months contributing significantly to a Business Transformation initiative (people, process, technology)
- 3+ years of SAP‑related experience in at least two areas, such as requirements, testing, process design, training, and technical integration
- 3+ years supporting engineering or maintenance activities using ERP tools (SAP PM or DRMIS strongly preferred)
- 3+ years developing or managing maintenance strategies, plans, task lists, or BOMs in an ERP environment
Security & Work Requirements:- SECRET (Level II) security clearance (may be obtained after award)

- Ability to work on‑site in Gatineau as required
