Responsibilities :
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the transportation and logistics sector.
Cultivate relationships with potential clients using a proactive approach.
Devise effective sales strategies to achieve business development goals.
Implement sales plans to penetrate target markets efficiently.
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
Provide tailored solutions to meet client needs and ensure satisfaction.
Work closely with internal teams for successful client onboarding and growth.
Collaborate with operations, marketing, and other departments to optimize client retention.
Utilize asset-based selling expertise to drive revenue growth and profitability.
Offer innovative solutions based on a deep understanding of clients’ logistics needs.
Maintain a hybrid work model, balancing remote and in-office work as required.
Ensure effective communication and collaboration with team members regardless of location.
Qualifications :
Proven experience as a business development manager or relevant role.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the Transportation and Logistics field.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
Understanding of the logistics industry and associated processes.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
