Parklawn Granite is seeking a hardworking, dedicated person to join our team. Casual position 3-4 days per week 8-9 months per year.

Job Types : Part-time, Casual, Seasonal

Contract length : 8 months
Pay : $16.43-$29.33 per hour
Expected hours : 24 – 40 per week
Benefits : Extended health care
Schedule : Day shift, Evening shift, Monday to Friday, Morning shift,Weekends as needed
Work Location : In person

Qualifications : The ideal candidate must :

Have a valid driver’s license,

must be able to drive a manual transmission vehicle,

have strong communication and organizational skills,

be comfortable with computers and have some basic design experience.

Building relationships is a key component of this job.

You will be required to work indoors and outdoors in all types of weather. This is a physically demanding job.

Duties

Design monuments, columbarium doors

Order product

Complete and submit relevant paperwork prior to installation of monuments

Perform installations of monuments according to specifications and guidelines.

Ensure all tools and equipment are in good working condition before starting installation tasks.

Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.

Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the installation process, providing solutions as necessary.

Always maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the yard

Communicate with families to ensure their needs are met and provide updates on project progress.

Communicate with staff from two funeral home locations.

Document installation processes and report any discrepancies or challenges encountered.
