Driver – Flatbed Truck and Transit Truck

Tasks

• Perform local and regional deliveries using a flatbed truck and a transit type truck.
• Safely load, secure, and unload metal sheets and parts.
• Verify delivery slips and ensure that materials remain intact.
• Keep the vehicle clean and in good working condition.
• After deliveries, provide support in the workshop for handling, preparation, and general tasks.

Job requirements

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license.
• Experience transporting metal, steel, or industrial materials (a strong asset).
• Knowledge of safe load securement techniques.
• Ability to perform physical tasks related to material handling.
• Intermediate knowledge of English, due to communication with English speaking clients about 50% of the time.
