Purpose of the Role :

As the Adsorption Process Development Specialist, you will work in dynamic process simulation team (R&D department- process development team) and bridge test and dynamic simulation activities. The main focus will be running dynamic simulation and validating inputs through experiments to develop new adsorption processes for optimization and scale up. This requires excellence knowledge of chemical engineering fundamentals (thermodynamics, heat & mass transfer, kinetics, etc.) and gas adsorption phenomena.

You will also work closely with Material Development, Characterization & Process Testing team to be able to identify the required characterization and process test data for dynamic process simulation.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

• You have PhD or MSc in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
• You bring advanced knowledge in fundamentals of adsorption.
• You have hands-on experience in designing and / or development of adsorption units (TSA or VPSA) and / or any other gas separation processes.
• You have experience in dynamic process simulations and / or numerical modelling (Aspen Adsorption or equivalent).
• You have holistic view of identifying, integrating and initiating strategies to continuously improve model input parameter certainties, from lab scale to process testing, overseeing parameter validation for dynamic modeling.
