HVAC Project Manager

Job Description

Experience Project Manager required in the field of marine HVAC design, procurement, build & commissioning to join a rapidly expanding workforce in North Vancouver. The successful candidate will report to the Business Director, as part of a dynamic team working on every step of the design from concept, through fabrication, to installation & commissioning.

The following outlines the Job description in more detail;

• Read, comprehend & interpret customer specifications & requirements, scopes of supply, scope of work & work demarcation
• Prepare & update plans including budgets, schedules & staffing materials forecasts
• Prepare & update periodic progress and earned value reports
• Manage subcontractors to ensure project deliverables are archived
• Resolve complex issues related to contracts including subcontractor product delivery schedules, quality, cost challenges
• act as primary client contacts
• Participate in client meetings regarding progress, performance & project related issues
• Communicate with customer / equipment selection
• Prepare subcontract scopes of work, obtain quotes, prepare purchase orders
• Coordinate & oversee construction, commissioning & operational teams to optimise activities
• Guidance & mentoring of Junior project staff.
